Every factual claim used in a Dimsale review is stored, sourced, and re-checked automatically. This page is not written by hand — it is regenerated every few hours from the same verification system that powers the “Last source check” badges on our articles, so the numbers below are always current, not a snapshot from launch day.
What these numbers mean
Corrections issued to date counts facts our verification system has caught actively contradicting their source since this system went live — counted directly from claims flagged draft in our source-of-truth store, not derived from text-matching. When that happens, the claim is flagged, the affected article gets a visible amber notice, and the fact is queued for a rewrite — we do not quietly edit the number and move on.
Sources currently unreachable is not a hidden number — 0 facts have already been re-pointed to a source we confirmed our checker can reach; the rest are re-checked automatically the moment we find (or a manufacturer opens up) a reachable source. Until then we leave the fact and its last known-good verification date exactly as they were — we never guess, and we never quietly drop the disclosure that we could not check.
How this works
Every fact behind a Dimsale review carries a source URL and a verification date. On a rolling hourly schedule, our system fetches the original source live, strips it down to plain text, and asks an independent model a strict yes/no question: does the source still say what the article says? A fact is only marked confirmed if every specific number, standard, or capability it depends on is still present in the source text. A fact is only marked changed if the source actively contradicts it — not merely if we could not find the number. Anything else, including a source that fails to load, is marked unreachable and left alone rather than guessed at. Full methodology: How We Review.
For machines, not just people
These same verified facts are available as structured data, not just prose: dimsale.com exposes them as public WordPress Abilities (dimsale/get-verified-facts and dimsale/compare-products) on our site’s MCP server, so AI agents and shopping assistants can query verified specs directly — with source and verification date attached — instead of scraping article text. Facts flagged as corrections (draft status) are excluded from that feed entirely until re-verified, so an agent never receives a disputed claim labeled as verified. This page is generated by the same data.
